Make a Meaningful Impact as a Behavior Interventionist

We’re currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Interventionists (BIs). In this role, you will work directly with clients and families to build meaningful skills and improve quality of life.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1:1 behavior intervention services in home, school, and/or community settings
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
  • Collect and record data on client progress
  • Support skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living
  • Collaborate with supervisors and participate in ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in working with children and young adults with developmental or behavioral needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
  • Prior ABA experience is a plus, but not required — we provide training

Training & Support

  • Paid initial training (online and in-field)
  • Ongoing supervision and mentorship from BCBA-level clinicians
  • Hands-on coaching and performance feedback
  • Paid CPI training provided on-site

Career Growth Opportunities

At About Behavior Consulting, we are committed to developing our team and promoting from within whenever possible. As a Behavior Interventionist, you’ll have access to a structured path for advancement:

Take on mentorship responsibilities, support onboarding and training of new staff, and strengthen advanced implementation skills.

Begin developing clinical leadership skills, including supporting and delivering parent/caregiver training, assisting with program implementation, and collaborating closely with supervising clinicians.

Take a more active role in case oversight, including coordinating services, supporting treatment plan implementation, and maintaining regular communication with caregivers under BCBA supervision.

Pursue graduate-level training and certification to design, supervise, and oversee individualized treatment programs.

We provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and opportunities to build the clinical and leadership skills needed at each level.
